About the role
Join us as a Finance Manager – Corporate Accounting on a 6-month Fixed-Term contract with view to permanency, where you’ll take ownership of key accounting areas and deliver high-quality financial outcomes. You will lead financial accounting activities, support statutory and group reporting, and ensure strong control and governance across corporate accounting.
You’ll play a key role in delivering the month-end close, managing critical balance sheet areas (intercompany, fixed assets, capital), ensuring IFRS compliance, and driving continuous improvement across processes, systems and controls.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own month-end close and financial reporting: Lead journals, accruals, reclasses, reconciliations and deliver accurate, timely reporting outputs
- Maintain general ledger integrity: Ensure accurate entity/account postings and strong balance sheet control discipline
- Manage intercompany accounting globally: Oversee transactions, reconciliations, eliminations and resolve mismatches across entities
- Deliver statutory reporting and support audit: Prepare statutory accounts, support consolidation and ensure audit-ready documentation
- Oversee fixed assets and capital accounting: Manage asset registers, capex reporting, depreciation and accounting treatment
- Ensure IFRS compliance and strong controls: Apply accounting standards, maintain policies and strengthen internal control frameworks
- Support forecasting, budgeting and corporate functions: Contribute to planning cycles and partner with IT, HR, Legal and Finance stakeholders
- Drive process improvement and stakeholder engagement: Improve systems and processes, partner cross-functionally and support a high-performing finance team
What You’ll Bring:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance / Commerce
- CA/CPA qualified
- Lead and mentor the Corporate Finance team
- 4–6+ years’ experience in financial accounting, audit or reporting
- Strong working knowledge of IFRS and statutory reporting requirements
- General ledger and month-end processes
- Strong attention to detail, problem-solving and stakeholder engagement
- Strong planning and prioritisation
