WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
SimCorp’s Advanced Delivery Center (ADC) plays a key role in delivering high‑quality implementations for clients across EMEA, APAC, and North America. Through its global footprint, the ADC supports complex implementations by providing scalable, standardized, and expert delivery services.
Within the ADC, the Implementation Testing Services team ensures solution quality throughout the implementation lifecycle by defining testing strategies, leading execution, and supporting clients during their test activities.
The Lead Testing Services Consultant (Test Manager) is critical to this model. The role owns the testing approach across assigned projects, combining strategic oversight with hands‑on leadership to manage risks, align stakeholders, and ensure consistent quality—whether testing is delivered by SimCorp, clients, or jointly. By acting as the primary testing authority and client counterpart, the Test Manager helps enable reliable go‑lives and strong customer outcomes.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Strategic Leadership & Planning
Define and adapt test strategies based on project scope, objectives, risks, and timelines.
Lead the creation of detailed test plans, identifying testable scope, and aligning schedules with project plans.
Contribute to project effort estimation and resource planning.
Analyse project artifacts (e.g., WBS, requirements, configuration documents) to derive testing scope.
Identify delivery risks early and implement mitigation actions.
Own testing governance and act as the primary escalation point for testing‑related risks and quality issues.
Test Execution & Delivery
Organize and lead test activities for internal and external teams.
Design and execute functional component, end-to-end, and system integration test cases.
Manage incident tracking and resolution throughout the test lifecycle.
Monitor and control test progress and incident handling across teams.
Ensure adherence to established delivery practices and team collaboration standards.
Stakeholder Engagement
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders from project initiation to closure.
Conduct kick-off meetings, defect triage calls, workshops, and regular reporting.
Provide timely updates on test metrics and project status.
Support clients during their test execution, including test suite handover and Q&A.
Act as the primary testing counterpart for clients, setting expectations and guiding testing approach.
Balance SimCorp delivery standards with client‑specific testing models and constraints.
Continuous Improvement
Contribute to the development and refinement of standard service delivery practices.
Conduct project closure activities and deliver final test reports.

Familiarity with financial domain processes and SCD (Simcorp Dimension) knowledge
Certification
ISTQB Advanced Level Test Manager
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced Level Test Analyst
PMP certification (considered a plus)
