Ferring+You
The Medical Science Liaison is a field-based medical professional who engages in scientific exchange with external experts and healthcare stakeholders. The MSL acts as a trusted partner to the medical community, supporting evidence-based decision making and advancing patient care through non-promotional, high-quality medical communication.
Your day at Ferring
Establish and maintain peer-to-peer scientific relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), healthcare professionals and other external stakeholders.
Carry out identification, mapping and updating of the external stakeholder database.
Provide accurate, balanced and up-to-date scientific information on disease areas, products and clinical data in response to unsolicited requests.
Execute the field medical strategy in alignment with the overall medical plan.
Identify, collect and communicate medical insights from clinical practice to support internal strategy and improve patient outcomes.
Support the planning and execution of medical activities, including advisory boards, scientific meetings and congress engagements.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Market Access and other internal stakeholders.
Behind our innovation… There’s you
Advanced scientific degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent).
MSL experience; able to perform field medical activities independently. Experience in IVF or Gastroenterology/Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) is an advantage.
Experience in digitalization initiatives or project launches involving Artificial Intelligence (AI) is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful scientific exchange.
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with external experts.
Fluent in English and the Romanian.
