Job Description

We have a role with one of our Price Family companies, E.H. Price International, for a Territory Representative located in Costa Rica. 

Position:        Territory Representative – Costa Rica
Location:        San Jose, Costa Rica
Reports to:     Area Representative – EH Price International, CENAM


The Account Representative is primarily responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth in the Costan Rican market.  As a member of the E.H. Price International team, the Territory Representative works closely with applications engineering, manufacturing teams, and product managers to ensure that customers are provided exceptional products and service. 

Principal Duties:

  • Develop strategies to drive growth in Costa Rica

  • Support existing Price clients in Costa Rica and identify new potential clients

  • Present opportunities for Price to work with OEMs and local manufacturers

  • Engage with Engineering Consulting firms to specify Price products

  • Identify key contractors in the country

  • Present strategies and/or approach to penetrate both commodity and engineered product markets

  • Present a list of main cities to focus within the next 3 years for substantial growth

  • Assist in all logistics and importing procedures

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years’ outside sales experience in the HVAC industry

  • Advanced written/spoken English and Spanish

  • Degree in Mechanical (Preferred) or Industrial Engineering.

  • Sheet Metal and Air Distribution Equipment experience considered an asset.

  • Strong PC application skills including complement of Microsoft Office software.

  • Excellent planning, project management, interpersonal, and communication skills.

  • High ethical standards, organized and detail oriented.

  • Self-starter who is a creative out of the box thinker.

  • Possess high sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Willingness and ability  to travel 40% of the time both nationally and internationally.

  • Ability to translate complicated technical jargon for the average consumer

  • Must own and use a personal, insured vehicle; company reimburses approved business-related vehicle expenses.
