3rd Shift Security Guard

Currently hiring: 3rd Shift Security Guard in Hartsville, SC

Shift: Monday - Friday (12am - 8am) including weekends

Facility type: Education 

Prior Experience/Must Haves:

Stable work history and reliable transportation (Must Have)

Security background or retired Law Enforcement (Preferred, not Required)

Flexibility for working outside normal hours including weekends.

Strong leadership abilities.

We are looking for you to…

• Assist Allegiance management in delegated duties and functions
• Follow written/verbal directives
• Stand or walk constantly (for multiple hours, up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet, grass, dirt)
• Monitor security cameras
• Public relations and awareness and dealing tactfully with the public
• Assist in investigations concerning loss/damage of client property
• Follow post orders, Allegiance policy and procedure and other directives
• Obtain and in detail statements, write reports, interview and observe and document information in a professional manner

You will have:

• High School Diploma or Equivalency
• Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
• Ability to pass a background and drug screening
• Ability to work all shifts
• Ability to understand, interpret and follow the rules, instructions and lawful orders
• Ability to cope with stressful work situations
• Physical stamina and dexterity
• Knowledge of security operations and procedures
• Ability to detect safety hazards within the building and communicate with appropriate staff as well as follow all mandated safety requirements.
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to obtain a Guard License
