Job Description
As a Trainee, you will work closely with experienced industry professionals and gain valuable hands-on exposure to offshore, marine and subsea operations. This role offers the opportunity to develop practical technical skills in a dynamic, safety-driven environment while supporting real world offshore projects and advanced marine technologies. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, learn industry best practices and build a strong foundation for a long term career within the offshore and energy sector.
Requirements:
Qatari Nationals holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechatronics Engineering who are passionate about offshore and marine operations and eager to gain practical field experience. Candidates should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, adaptability, teamwork, and an interest in working within a challenging and fast paced operational environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
• Observing and learning from experienced staff members.
• Gaining knowledge of company policies and processes.
• Fulfilling any requirements and meeting goals set out at the start of the training.
• Participating in meetings, workshops, and other learning opportunities.
• Completing succesfully all necessary assessments, as guided and required.
• Completing all assigned tasks and assisting with day-to-day operations.
• Taking detailed notes and liaising with Managers, Supervisors, and other Senior staff.
• Preparing all requested documents, materials and updating records.
• Performing all the administrative support, such as printing, setting up materials, rooms, etc. as requested from their supervisors.
• Researching and assisting their supervisor in identifying areas for service or process improvements.
• Writing and presenting regular updates to management.
• Completing fieldwork or visiting different work sites when required.
• Maintaining communication with supervisors and attending periodic evaluations.
• Maintaining and developing a positive working relationship with employees.
• Performing all other job related duties, as assigned.
