Resiliency Manor for Families
Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP)
The Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP) supports the Site Supervisor in maintaining daily program operations while providing direct support to individuals in community-based homes.
In addition to Direct Support Professional duties, the LDSP mentors and supports staff, models professional interactions, and helps ensure Individual Service Plans (ISPs) are implemented effectively. This role promotes independence, safety, and person-centered care for the individuals we serve.

Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and supervision to individuals in residential settings
Support implementation of Individual Service Plans (ISPs)
Mentor and support Direct Support Professionals
Collaborate with management to maintain smooth daily program operations
Promote independence, community participation, and positive behaviors
Complete required documentation and reports
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred
Minimum of 2 years experience working with individuals with IDD or behavioral health needs
Basic computer skills (email, documentation systems, timekeeping)
Understanding of trauma-informed care
Required Clearances & Licenses
Valid Pennsylvania driver’s license with at least 3 years of driving experience
Child Abuse Clearance
Criminal Background Check
FBI Clearance (if applicable)
Physical Requirements
Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and assist individuals as needed
Medium lifting requirement (up to 50 lbs occasionally)
Work occurs primarily in participant homes and community settings.
