Product Owner / Innovation Leader

Research & Development Department at Citi Handlowy is seeking a qualified professional for a position of a Product Owner / Innovation Lead for corporate business area. This role is a mixture of Product Owner, Innovation Lead and Analyst competences. Person in this position can be described as a technically substantive leader of business change. The role reports directly to the R&D Development Head and is in charge or significant member of business and technology projects for TTS in Poland (as an example: corporate CRM transformation, processes digitization, banking as a service projects, client onboarding process optimization etc.).

The ideal candidate is a curious individual with “can-do” attitude able to interact and build relations both on local and global level.

Responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to department initiatives to implement process enhancements;
• Identifying and forming strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Work closely and engage with global and regional partners in Citi to develop and refine the strategy of product solutions, go to market approach, and delivery model;
• Proactively assessing and managing appropriateness of solutions and risks across all products/work streams. Ensuring timely escalation and mitigation of the risks to avoid impact to the project delivery;
• Reporting including status reports/trackers. Be able to effectively deliver the key message around the initiatives to business and senior leaders;

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the banking industry
• Experience in new product and solutions implementations in financial services industry;
• Proven track record of consistently strong performance and excellent project delivery;
• Good knowledge of corporate banking, cash management and trade products;
• Technology background and experience in electronic banking channels will be a great asset;
• Ability to build relations and effective cooperation both locally and globally in a complex business environment;
• Curiosity and ability to ask the right questions;
• Excellent communication and presentation skills;
• Proactive and inquisitive individual who takes ownership and challenges the status-quo;
• Fast learner with “can do” attitude;
• Able to think “out-of-the-box”;
• Very good English;
• University degree.
