T26/27 EARTH SCIENCE TEACHER (Wakefield HS)

This position is a 1.0 FTE located at Wakefield HS for SY27. 

Qualifications

• Must have or be eligible for Virginia licensure.
• Science – Earth science endorsement.
• Dual endorsement in English as a Second Language and/or Special Education, or in any other content area, is preferred but not required. Experience teaching high school students.
• Successful teaching experience and curricular knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Flexible, dependable and highly organized.
• Understanding of the middle school child.
• Must be team oriented and able to work cohesively with others.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Strong classroom management skills.

Salary will be based on the FY2026-27 salary schedule.
