
Program Facilitator | Clara's House | Early Childhood Unit
Job Description
CentraCare is seeking a Program Facilitator to join the Early Childhood Unit at Clara’s House, a partial hospitalization program that provides short-term therapeutic and stabilization services for primarily 3-5 years old.
The Program Facilitator plays a key role in supporting the therapeutic environment of Clara's House. This position works collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to facilitate structured activities and groups, provide behavioral support, and ensure a safe and supportive environment for children receiving intensive mental health services. The Program Facilitator assists in implementing treatment plans, facilitates groups, reinforces therapeutic skills, and supports patients in achieving emotional regulation, social development, and treatment goals within a partial hospitalization setting.
Responsibilities of a Program Facilitator:
- Help maintain a safe, clean, and structured environment.
- Collaborate with therapists, psychiatrists, and other clinical staff to support patient’s individual treatment goals.
- Support daily routines, including transitions, meals/snacks, and breaks.
- Responsible for planning and facilitating social skills groups.
- Assist in crisis de-escalation as needed.
Schedule
- Full-time | 64-80 hours every two weeks
- Monday - Friday | 7:30 am - 4:00 pm | No weekends or major holidays
- On-site | Clara's House
Pay and Benefits
- Starting pay begins at $21.54 per hour; exact wage determined by years of related experience
- Pay range: $21.54 - $32.31 per hour

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a human services field or a minimum of two years of related experience assisting in facilitation of groups, programs and material design required.
- Skills and knowledge in the provision of therapeutic education and activities
- Knowledge of medical and psychiatric diagnosis and the associated symptoms
- Ability to teach a variety of education and creative activities
- Workplace violence initial and ongoing training required and provided
