JOB DESCRIPTION:
The NDT Technician II performs non-destructive inspection of components to ensure compliance with Company’s quality system, specifications, and customer requirements. Non-destructive testing disciplines include Florescent Penetrant, Radiography (X-Ray), Magnetic Particle, Ultrasonic and Eddy Current Inspections.
EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE: The specific EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE requirements of this position are:
• NDT Level II Certification in at least one NDT method (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET) • Able to stand 75% of workday and lift to 35lbs as required • 2-4 year’s general work history • One (1) year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience • High School Diploma or equivalent • Read, speak, write, and effectively communicate in English • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals • Proficiency using Microsoft Office Software • Read and interpret various types of precision measurement equipment • Read and interpret specifications, drawings, Engine Service/Repair Manuals, customer & regulatory specifications
