• Develops and executes communications strategies to support business priorities and goals.
• Creates engaging content across multiple platforms, including email, intranet, social media, and digital displays.
• Collaborates with leadership, Human Resources, and other departments to develop and implement culture-building events and activities.
• Proactively develops dynamic stories and multimedia content showcasing team members and organizational achievements.
• Supports leaders with the development of presentations, talking points, and other communication materials.
• Coordinates and staffs events such as town halls, award ceremonies, and training sessions.
• Engages with team members to understand their needs and foster a collaborative work environment.
• Partners with internal teams to create visual communications and promotional materials.
• Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of communication strategies and engagement activities.
• Implements process improvements to enhance communication and engagement efforts.
• Maintains strong relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies and standards in all communications.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Experience building communications or integrated marketing and communications strategies [Required]
• Effective news judgment and experience building stories or multimedia content for media, social media or other types of mass audience publishing [Required]
• Strong understanding of fundamental storytelling practices including research, interviews, production, editing and fact-checking [Required]
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex or operational information to all levels of staff that is understandable and engaging [Required]
• Proven ability to ghost write for C-Suite and develop thought leadership strategies, if applicable [Required]
• PowerPoint presentation building and delivery skills [Required]
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with daily deadlines, and handles long-range content planning with ease [Required]
• Ability to develop team member and physician events such as town halls or recognition ceremonies [Required]
• Ability to create or co-create visual communications for team members to include videos, flyers, digital display boards or screensavers [Required]
• Writing with AP Style [Required]
• Strong attention to detail across communication mediums [Required]
• Excellent problem solving skills [Required]
• Effective computer skills, particularly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook [Required]
• Ability to work in a matrix-management environment to achieve organizational goals [Required]
• Experience in managing campaigns or projects that leverage a sphere of integrated internal and external communications or marketing strategies [Preferred]
• Understanding of photography and graphic design principles, and working knowledge of tools such as Canva [Preferred]
• Working knowledge of various social media outlets [Preferred]
Education:
• Bachelor's [Required]
Field of Study:
• degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
Work Experience:
• 5+ of experience in corporate communications, journalism, marketing or related field [Required]
• Communications experience in a corporate setting [Preferred]
• Experience building strategic communications plans across a variety of internal and external channels [Required]
• Experience planning and overseeing events (media, consumer or employee) [Required]
• Presentation design and development [Preferred]

Pay Range:
$83,699.48 - $155,693.55Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
