Join us as a Service Delivery Tax Trainee (IEFP)
As a Service Delivery Tax Trainee, you will play a key role in managing daily and recurring tax operation tasks for Oslo (ES-OSL) and Copenhagen (ES-CPH), contributing to the sustainable development of services and applications based on client and regulatory input.
Key Accountabilities
As a Service Delivery Tax Trainee, you will:
- Participate in supporting clients in the tax reclaim area according to service level agreements (SLAs).
- Assist Client Services in responding to client customer inquiries in the use of tax products and services (e.g. tax reclaim).
- Contribute to securing the tax operations in ES-OSL and ES-CPH systems, including the resolution of any instability when it occurs.
- Provide input to ensure ES-OSL and ES-CPH products are developed in line with changes and expectations in the market, by highlighting improvements, changes and any instability in products and services to the relevant Product Owner and Product Manager.
- Participate in the development of future products and services by assisting development teams as needed, such as giving input for requirements and conducting tests.
- Support the automation and streamlining of internal processes.
- Carry out operations and customer assignments in the field of expertise within current procedures and instructions.
- Escalate customer requests and errors that cannot be resolved to the relevant Product Owner, Product Manager or Head of Nordic Safekeeping Operations, or that are not handled according to the relevant SLA.
- Escalate issues that pose significant risks to daily operations or key issues that are not prioritized within the teams to the head of department.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience Required
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, or related field.
- Solid understanding of general principles of taxation.
- Experience with different areas of tax processing is a benefit (such as withholding tax, tax reclaim, annual reporting).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end post-trade value chain.
- Understanding of the customer processes and needs within the relevant business area.
- Familiarity with the overall ENX Securities product portfolio and corresponding services and applications.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills (written/oral).
- Minimum of 3 years of higher education (extensive work experience may compensate for lack of education).
- Fluent in English.
- Eligible for an IEFP Level VI Internship.
