Job Description
Management and Orchestration of Transactional Operations
- Oversee e-commerce transactional activities by coordinating internal teams and external partners.
- Ensure that all stakeholders are aligned on processes and technical and business interdependencies.
- Develop, monitor, and optimize the budget allocated to transactional operations.
- Facilitate governance meetings and provide regular reporting on risks, challenges, and performance.
- Identify and anticipate transaction-related risks and ensure their proactive management.
Design and Technical Architecture
- Contribute to the architecture of e-commerce solutions and ensure the selection of appropriate technologies (CMS, frameworks, cloud solutions).
- Collaborate closely with Marketing teams to integrate technical solutions and ensure their interoperability with existing systems.
- Serve as the technical lead on digital technologies and ensure the technological consistency of implemented solutions.
Management and Technical Supervision
- Manage and lead the technical team responsible for transactional development.
- Organize sprints, prioritize tasks, and manage development using Agile methodology.
- Participate in key development projects, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to best development practices.
- Ensure the performance, scalability, and security of transactional platforms.
- Identify and implement new standards for quality, methods, development processes, and tools.
Technology monitoring and innovation
- Stay informed about new technologies and propose technical improvements tailored to business needs.
- Oversee technical service providers and ensure effective management of related budgets.
- At least 5 years of experience in team management and leading cross-functional projects.
- Technical skills:
- Proficiency with e-commerce platforms, particularly Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Experience with project management tools such as JIRA.
- Strong understanding of scalability, security, and performance issues related to digital platforms.
- Language skills: Excellent communication skills in French and English (Frequent contacts outside Quebec).
- Personal qualities: Leadership, attention to detail, ability to lead technical teams and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
