Role Overview
As a Clinical Laboratory Scientist I, you will support accurate and timely diagnostic services by performing laboratory testing while ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing diagnostic testing and quality control procedures
- Preparing reagents and reporting results according to established policies and procedures
- Reviewing and overseeing moderate to high complexity laboratory testing
- Maintaining laboratory equipment and supply inventory
- Monitoring computer applications related to laboratory operations
- Ensuring accuracy and compliance in all testing activities
- Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education
Required:
- Associate’s degree in Medical Technology OR a related field
Preferred:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
Experience
- Clinical laboratory experience required
- Minimum of four (4) months of related experience
Licensure / Certification
Required:
- State of Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License
