Job Description

[What the role is]

This role is responsible for the accounting for SLF subsidiaries and supporting the operations of the funds managed by the fund management subsidiary.

[What you will be working on]

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for the following.

Accounting

  • Timely and accurate monthly closing
  • Cashflow planning & execution
  • Handle statutory audit, GST submissions, tax & XBRL filings
  • Preparation of Board papers
  • Preparation of filings to MAS (for fund management subsidiary)
  • Ensure timely collection of account receivables (for property owning subsidiary) 
  • Collaborate on operational and financial issues
  • Support in ad hoc tasks/projects

Fund operations

  • Update of SOPs
  • Lead process improvements

Drive digital adoption

[What we are looking for]

Requirements

  • Accountancy degree with at least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in fund management industry is required
  • Good analytical & problem solving skills
  • Meticulous, resourceful, and able to work independently
  • Capable of managing tight deadlines and multitasking
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Excel
