Plastic parts - Lead Engineer

Activites:

Missions - attached to Mechanical Department, you will carry out the following principal missions:

• Ensure the technical product/process convergence and the part development according to the client specifications;
• Offer advice and technical support to Mechanical Design Engineer;
• Analyse and propose technical solutions;
• Validate the technical solutions proposed by the working team or component supplier;
• Manage discussions with other interfacing departments and suppliers in order to ensure final product feasibility and robustness;
• Participate to the R&D design and validation reviews;
• Schedule and monitor the progress of the project. Ensure that the milestones are met according to the project planning;
• You could be involved within upstream, development and industrialization phases of the project;

Your profile:

• We are looking for an experienced engineer who contributes to the overall success of the development of components;
• Your professional career path shows relevant experience related to product development for automotive components (BIW, PWT, Plastics int. - ext., etc.);
• In addition to your knowledge concerning product and process technologies such as assembly, injecting and painting, you ideally also have experience in working with materials such as plastic, glasses, or steel;
• Your technical expertise and your leadership skills allow you a great and efficient project management;
• Your are Skilled in CATIA V5/V6 in 3D and 2D Part Design, Generative Shape Design would be also appreciated;
• We look for a team member with strong communication, teamwork skills, open to learn and evolve;
• Good English skills is mandatory;
• Additional foreign languages will be a plus;
• Proficient in MS Word / Excel / PowerPoint;
