Job Description:

Integration Lead – Operational Digital Twin

Parsons is seeking an Integration Lead to support the end-to-end delivery of a large-scale Geospatial Digital Twin programme for a major national infrastructure owner in the Middle East. This multi-year initiative will design, build, and operationalize an Operational Digital Twin platform that integrates geospatial data, real-time IoT/SCADA feeds, asset information, and core enterprise systems to enable data-driven planning, operations, and maintenance. The role will work closely with the Solution Architect, Software Development Lead, GIS Development Lead, and a team of international experts, developers, and engineers.

The scope spans discovery and stakeholder engagement, interface and integration architecture, proof-of-concept delivery, implementation of a production-grade environment, post-implementation support, and structured training and knowledge transfer. The Integration Lead will help define and oversee the integration strategy, lead API and interface design and development, coordinate data and workflow automation across systems, and ensure that ArcGIS and other platforms are seamlessly integrated into the overall Digital Twin solution.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Support the Solution Architect and Product Manager in defining and maintaining the integration architecture and approach for the Operational Digital Twin across discovery, PoC, implementation, and post-implementation support phases
  • Lead the design and implementation of APIs, web services, and integration components between the Digital Twin platform and enterprise/operational systems (e.g., EAM/CMMS, ERP, BIM, SCADA/IoT, Esri ArcGIS, data warehouses/lakes)
  • Oversee the design and development of integrations and workflow automations involving Esri ArcGIS (ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro), including publishing and consuming services, synchronising data, and linking GIS with business systems
  • Coordinate with the Programmer (API), GIS Developer, and other technical resources to implement, test, and optimise interfaces, data flows, and event-driven integrations in line with agreed patterns and standards
  • Work with the Cybersecurity SME and infrastructure teams to ensure that integrations and APIs are secure, resilient, and meet non-functional requirements for performance, availability, and scalability
  • Prepare and maintain interface specifications, integration design documents, and runbooks, and support system and integration testing, defect resolution, and post-go-live support activities

What Required Skills You’ll Bring

  • Degree in computer science, software engineering, information systems, or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
  • Experience leading or owning integration design and delivery for large-scale digital, platform, or enterprise solutions, preferably in infrastructure, utilities, or urban environments
  • Strong hands-on experience in API development and software integration using modern languages and frameworks (e.g., , , or similar), and solid understanding of RESTful design principles and JSON)
  • Proven experience automating workflows and data exchanges across multiple systems, using APIs, web services, and messaging/event mechanisms
  • Practical experience integrating and automating solutions with Esri ArcGIS (ArcGIS Enterprise/Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro), including published services, web maps/apps, and GIS data services
  • Exposure to enterprise and operational systems such as EAM/CMMS, ERP, BIM, SCADA/IoT platforms, GIS, and data warehouses/lakes, and to common integration patterns (API-led, ETL/ELT, event-driven)
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary, multinational teams across multiple time zones
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and coordination skills, with experience in structured project or delivery environments (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile/Hybrid)
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills, with the ability to clearly describe integration designs and issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Fluency in spoken and written English; Arabic language skills are a strong advantage

What Desired Skills You’ll Bring

  • Prior work with national infrastructure owners, transport authorities, utilities, or public works organisations
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and DevOps practices for deploying, monitoring, and managing integration workloads
  • Professional certifications in integration, software development, or cloud technologies
