Job Description
Greet, seat and cater to the needs of the restaurant guests. Take payment and to-go orders, seat guests, and assist co-workers with their duties to ensure the best service for the guest.
- Must handle cash, credit, and vouchers.
- Must understand and practice Family Style Service with all guest and team members.
- Will rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.
- Must assist bussers and servers with basic daily duties.
- Required to replenish supplies (i.e. salt/pepper, ketchup, etc.).
- All other duties as assigned.
- Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance.
- Must be committed to 100% customer service!
- Must also be able to stand for prolonged periods of time.
- Must be physically able to lift up to 30lbs, bend, stoop, climb, and reach with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Must be able to stand/walk/ sit for extended periods.
- May be exposed to working in a noisy, smoke/secondary smoke environment.
- Must be at least 19. Must be able to obtain and maintain appropriate licensing. Must be able to pass a background investigation.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 pounds
- Ability to lift and carry objects up to 30 pounds
- Ability to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitively
- Ascend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended period
- Must be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
- Ability to work in a smoking and pet-friendly environment
