At Westinghouse Field Services, we are looking for an experienced SG & Inspection Platform Lead to join our organization and drive resource planning, operational excellence, and strategic growth within our platform.
This position plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of inspection services across nuclear power plants globally, while leading teams, optimizing resources, and aligning workforce strategy with business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute resource planning strategies aligned with business goals and growth objectives.
- Anticipate workforce needs, considering factors such as aging workforce, rotation, and future demand.
- Set and guide the recruitment strategy based on required technical profiles and project needs.
- Allocate resources effectively to meet client requirements and project timelines.
- Oversee holiday planning to ensure no disruption to client operations.
- Manage and resolve conflicts related to resource allocation and competing priorities.
- Ensure completion of training programs within the assigned team through monitoring and spot checks.
- Guarantee compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements.
- Approve timesheets in a timely manner and ensure compliance with working time regulations.
- Lead and manage supervisors and team members within the assigned platform.
- Act as a key liaison with vocational schools, universities, job fairs, and external institutions.
- Build and maintain relationships with academic and industry stakeholders, representing Westinghouse in events and professional forums.
- Co-lead external engagement strategies alongside other Platform Leads.
- Optimize resource utilization to ensure maximum efficiency and performance.
Requirements
- 5 to 10 years of experience in non-destructive testing (NDT) services or similar technical environments.
- Experience in nuclear power plants is highly valued.
- Proven background in resource planning and allocation management.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams and supervisors.
- Ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Fluent English (mandatory).
- Additional languages such as French are a plus.
