Junior Sous Chef

We offer:

Pay: £15 per hour 

Shifts: Mainly daytime, 5 days out of 7 (including weekends)

Contract: Full Time, Permanent

About the Junior Sous Chef role:

• Reporting directly to the Head Chef and Sous Chef and deputising in their absence
• Working with the Head Chef, Sous Chef and Group Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen operation remains consistent, support the development new menu ideas and ways to improve our offerings
• Ensuring the food quality is always at its highest standard
• Ensure the performance of the kitchen team is of the highest standard by motivating and leading by example
• Overseeing stock levels and making key decisions about stock control in conjunction with the Head Chef and Sous Chef
• Ensure all food safety and health and safety procedures are maintained to the highest standard

 

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with making pizza 
• Experience within a high-volume kitchen
• Strong communication and leadership skills 
• Multi-site experience
• An eye for detail, and the ability to produce food to a high standard
• The ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team effectively
• Excellent organisational and time management skills
• A thorough understanding of food safety and hygiene regulations
