Key job responsibilities
- Serve as lead supervising counsel on complex employment litigation matters including class actions, PAGA claims, and high-exposure single-plaintiff cases
- Develop comprehensive litigation strategy and manage sophisticated case portfolios from complaint through resolution
- Assess, select, and supervise outside counsel on high-stakes employment litigation matters
- Provide litigation risk assessments and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
A day in the life
You'll start your day reviewing class certification briefing for a high-impact wage-hour case. Afternoons could include case strategy sessions with outside counsel, revising dispositive motions, or leading strategy on a mock jury exercise. You'll own strategic case management, working independently while collaborating across Legal, HR, and business teams to achieve favorable litigation outcomes.

We are seeking a seasoned employment litigator to serve as lead counsel managing high-stakes employment litigation across U.S. locations. This role requires deep litigation expertise to direct complex
- Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent
- 5+ years of post bar admission legal experience
- 5+ years of litigation experience
- Experience managing multiple projects and priorities across teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Experience defending class/complex wage-hour litigation
- 5+ years of experience in employment litigation
- Law firm litigation background with experience handling employment matters
- Experience as first or second chair in employment litigation matters

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
