
Physical Therapist
Job Description
As a Physical Therapist with The Hale Hand Center, you will:
- Float between our Melbourne and Rockledge clinic locations
- Evaluating and treating patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting while helping them regain strength, mobility, function, and confidence.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient goals and clinical findings
- Guide patients through therapeutic exercises to restore strength, mobility, and function
- Provide manual therapy, therapeutic modalities, and other evidence-based interventions
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and fellow rehabilitation professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Practice Setting:
- Outpatient Orthopedics & Physical Medicine
- In-person care
- Monday - Friday schedule
- No weekends
- Part-time hours
- Flexible schedule
- Graduate from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapy program
- Active Florida Physical Therapist license in good standing
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, staff, and other healthcare professionals
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities
- Self-motivated with a growth-oriented mindset
- Passion for delivering high-quality, compassionate patient care
