Maintains electronic student clinical record systems. Conducts clinical site visits for online students. Refines clinical rotation syllabi and creates end-of-rotation exams with oversight from Clinical and Academic Directors. Ensures all required documentation for clinical rotation sites is properly recorded. Assists in acquiring and maintaining clinical rotation sites. Maintains practicum log on the Typhon Portal for accreditation review and compliance. Reviews and updates the Clinical Year Manual every six months or as necessary. Establishes clinical year didactic syllabi, learning objective measurements, and identifies qualified instructors. Assigns student clinical rotation schedules. Collaborates with the Online Vice-Chair and FNP Program Coordinator to maintain credentialing requirements for students at clinical rotation sites. Conducts student advising as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned by the Online Vice-Chair or FNP Program Coordinator. Other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills [Required]
• Excellence in teaching with good classroom management skills [Required]
• Ability to effectively communicate with college administration, faculty, staff, and others internal and external to the University [Required]
• Organizational and administrative skills [Required]
• Knowledge of computer programs related to educational duties which includes, but is not limited to, word processing, database management, complex data computation, analysis and graphics, presentation development, and distance learning technology; and visual and auditory skills to use computer and other presentation equipment, including telecommunications [Required]
• Strong communication, time management, and organizational skills [Required]
• Ability to work as a member of a team of highly motivated and experienced individuals [Required]
• Ability to maintain commitment to high professional standards with honesty and integrity [Required]
• Clinical practice in the outpatient or hospital setting [Preferred]
Education:
• Master's of Nursing [Required]
Field of Study:
• in nursing.
• Minimum of three years of clinical practice as a masters prepared nurse.
Work Experience:
• Experience teaching with a higher education nursing program. [Required]
Licenses and Certifications:
• Registered Nurse (RN) [Required]

Pay Range:
$66,170.74 - $123,073.07Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law)
