Your role here
As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting across domestic distribution entities and Canadian manufacturing operations. You will own key balance sheet accounts and support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes to ensure timely and accurate financial results in accordance with U.S. GAAP and applicable Canadian statutory requirements.
You will prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules, and analyze financial results to identify trends and investigate variances—including inventory, cost of goods sold, freight, and manufacturing overhead.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with FP&A, Tax, Treasury, IT/Financial Systems, and operational teams to support reporting, analysis, and business initiatives. You’ll also support internal and external audits, contribute to process improvements, and assist with ERP and system-related activities, including troubleshooting and testing.
This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while also providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
