Cardiac Testing Nurse

The cardiac testing nurse will supervise cardiac testing (including outpatient Treadmill Exercise Stress Tests, Nuclear Exercise Stress Tests, and Pharmacologic Stress Tests) while collaborating with physicians to deliver high quality diagnostic testing. The cardiac testing nurse will need to be proficient in interpreting EKGs, assessing blood pressures, and symptoms. Demonstrates knowledge of current policies, procedures, and standards of care. Apply Cooper Core Values.   Supervision of cardiac testing (including outpatient Treadmill Exercise Stress Tests, Nuclear Exercise Stress Tests, and Pharmacologic Stress Tests)  Proficient in Reading or interpreting EKG’s during testing as well as comparing to previous EKG’s to look for differences.
