Qualifications: Individuals will be the following qualifications for the position.
- LAM fulltime employee
- Supervisor 1 Level (27B or above)
- At least 2-yrs of operations within assigned warehouse. Preferably assigned to different departments for increased exposure to overall flow
Training: In addition to Logistics’ refresher/advancement prescribed training, must also complete the following for QCO. Initial courses listed, additional may be required based on background
- 8D Training
- 8D Overview
- 8D Disciplines of Problem-Solving Workshop (ILT) - Course for GOps
- 5 Why / RCCA Training
- Overview Customer Visible (CV) NCe
- iQMS Training
- Number of WBT’s and online courses to complete training
What you’ll do
Roles and Responsibilities: The individual will fill a gap within the facility in which they will set to example of quality training / monitoring and lead the facility in any occurrences deviating from outlined processes and procedures. Primary performance requirements (but not limited to):
- Review and ensure all established quality processes are being followed:
- Material Receiving
- Putaway
- Picking
- Consolidation
- Packing
- Shipping
- Conduct walks of work areas, shipping docks and other locations where material is staged and consolidated to ensure proper accountability
- Investigate any issues in which a “gap” or missing step within a process needs to be addressed.
- Work directly with the warehouse leadership team in coordinating and instructing personnel on quality processes and procedures
- Coordinates with the Field and Regional FQM to fully understand the problem that needs to be solved and ensures all relevant information has been provided
- Holds cross functional teams, as required, accountable for their execution & quality of solutions delivered as necessary for problem resolution
- Responsible for 8D quality and systemic change
- Working with Leadership sets the team
- Determine Initial Problem Statement and 1st Why within cycle times
- Determine Root Cause and Corrective Action plan within cycle times
- Forecast completion dates for each segment of the 8D process and communication of in-progress efforts
- Utilize the Lam escalation process for business process non-compliance
- Continuous Improvement initiatives such as Gemba Walks, identifying/eliminating non-value add activity, workplace optimization, …
- Meeting Requirements: (though minimum time frames listed, as required, meetings will be held based on circumstances)
- Weekly meetings with Facility Manager
- Weekly meetings with Regional FQM
- Bi-Weekly meetings with Logistics Quality Team
- Quarterly meetings to coordinate and prep for IORs
Who we’re looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 4-6 years of supervisory experience.
- Warehouse experience - 2 Years and above

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
