The Opportunities There are some great things happening at GB as we move through a period of exciting transformation and legislation reform, including dedicated specialist roles within our claims function, and we want YOU to be a part of it all

Due to internal career progression, as well as the introduction of major legislation reforms across the NSW Workers

Scheme, we are thrilled to announce a number of new permanent and fixed term Eligibility Specialist vacancies, giving opportunities for dedicated Claims professionals to join the GB family and become involved in some exciting work

As an Eligibility Specialist, you will support Case Managers with technical advice on initial and subsequent liability determinations

You will be responsible for ensuring quality and ethical liability decisions are made within prescribed timeframes under the relevant NSW legislation, as well as contributing to the training and upskilling of Case Managers in relation to liability and relevant principles

We also have dedicated Eligibility Specialist positions who will manage the liability determination process for psychological injury claims under the new legislation

These dedicated positions will play a vital role in designing and implementing new procedures, and will work with various stakeholders to interpret and apply new legislation and regulations to claim liability decisions

These roles provide unique opportunities to provide specialist support and grow your career in an exciting direction

In our expansion as a start up and disruptor to the current market, you will lend your experience to build and grow the technical expertise, operations and processes across the function

Additionally, you will: Advise and provide technical support in the initial and full liability; Support in the procurement of medical and factual investigations to determine liability; Review and analyse case documentation, including medical and factual reports; Assist in the identification of third-party recoveries; Oversee and attend matters at the Personal Injury Commission; Coach and mentor case management personnel, and collaborate with our additional specialist support hubs; Participate in key business projects and initiatives, such as learning and development and legislation reform implementation

We are looking for enthusiastic, compassionate and customer-centric individuals who possess: Significant experience in technical or case management roles within a workers

setting, with demonstrated experience in the determination or liability; Exceptional time management and organisational skills; Excellent attention to detail; Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to engage and coach at all levels of organisation; A strategic mindset and approach to work; A strong sense of team and collaboration; A resilient attitude
