Job Description

- Develops, monitors, and manages annual operating budget.
- Prepares monthly financial statements, forecasts and variance analysis.
- Oversees accounts receivable, accounts payable and payroll processes.
- Ensures to comply with financial policies and accounting requirements and maintains financial records that pertain to the complex.
- Plans and implements strategies to increase facility revenue through memberships, sponsorships, rentals, and programs; manages client relationships and marketing coordination.
- Prepares financial reports, forecasts, and cost recovery analyses; provides data-driven recommendations to management.
- Evaluate cost-saving measures and investment opportunities.
- Supervises assigned personnel; conducts performance evaluations; provides training leadership.
- Ensures compliance with municipal policies, purchasing regulations, and audit standards; assists with log-range financial planning and procedural improvements.
- Coordinates with city departments, vendors, and community partners, along with the Superintendent.
- Represents the complex in meetings and events.
- Performs related work as assigned
Knowledge of:
- Knowledge of accounting principles, budgeting and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of implementing and managing membership sales, sponsorships, rentals, and events. The manager develops and implements strategies to increase profitability, improve operational efficiency, and maintain fiscal accountability.
- Knowledge of supervisory duties and ability to guide and lead staff to achieve best results in the organization.

- Bachelor's degree from an accredited* college or university in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, or related fields.
- At least five (5) years of experience in finance, business administration, public administration, or related fields.
*Council of Higher Education Accreditation (C.H.E.A.)Required Licenses or Certifications:
- Valid Texas Driver License. If applicant holds an out-of-state license, a State of Texas Driver License must be obtained within 6 months of employment.
