Job Description
The Job:
As an engineering technician. You’ll get to:
- Provide engineering support for NPD – Supplier Confirmation Builds (SCB) – Manufacturing Confirmation Build (MCB) – Production Build
- Support sample test and summarize report.
- Maintain the resident product complying with the company quality standard.
The Person
- Bachelor above in Mechanical
- Minimum 2 years design experience and manufacturing and components are made/used.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Proficient in using Microsoft office software (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Familiar with Catia, Creo, AutoCAD and Windchill software is preferred, but not necessary.
- Communication skills with Basic level of English.
- Able to work with 3d assemblies and 3d component models.
- Able to create 2d prints
- Able to understand 2d prints and communicate with supplier providing feedback to the design team.
- Has basic mechanical aptitude
- Will need to interface with components suppliers.
- Will need to support design and manufacturing teams:
- With manufacturing team to create PFMEAs
- Able to support prototype build during the early product development phase
- Able to create and submit REAs and CN’s
