About the Role
Leafy Dell Apartments is seeking a reliable and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in Johnstown. In this role, you will be responsible for keeping our property in excellent condition - from handling day-to-day work orders and unit turns to seasonal upkeep and pool maintenance.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily and routine work orders as directed by management.
- Conduct apartment turns, including trash-outs and cleaning preparation for new residents.
- Maintain the cleanliness of grounds, common areas, shop, and leasing office.
- Perform HVAC repairs; EPA certification preferred with ability to handle common HVAC issues.
- Oversee swimming pool maintenance, including opening and closing procedures.
- Clear snow from walks and stairs during winter months, including salt spreading.
- Report suspicious activity, unsafe conditions, or poorly kept apartments to management.
- Unload delivery trucks and stock materials in their appropriate locations.
- Safeguard company materials and equipment against theft, misuse, or damage.
- Be available for after-hours on-call assignments as scheduled.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in residential apartment maintenance strongly preferred.
- EPA certification and strong HVAC skills are a significant plus.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and respond promptly to maintenance needs.
- Reliable, professional, and comfortable working in and around occupied residences.
- Must be available for on-call after-hours coverage on a rotating basis.
