Job Summary

In this role, you will provide administrative site support to the Production Manager at Jurong Plant.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Provide support for SAP, MES, and production monitoring systems to ensure accurate and efficient operations.
  • Raise purchase orders, manage production orders, and maintain production data within the system.
  • Access, consolidate, and analyze daily operational data from LDMS and IoT-based systems.
  • Provide administrative support during internal and external audits.
  • Maintain proper documentation and filing to ensure audit readiness and compliance.
  • Contribute to the development and enhancement of operational excellence maturity within operations.
  • Perform vendor master data creation, PO creation, and goods receipt transaction for operating supplies
    SAP Operations to ensure paying vendors timely and according to approved budget.  
  • Facilitate effective flow of communication to production employees by maintaining Digital TVs, West Alert System (WAS), notice boards for all functions on site including translation work if needed.
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Education

  • Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years of Business Support in a manufacturing environment
  • Fluency in English both written and spoken
  • Proficient in computer applications – MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, SAP.

    • Work safely by not causing unsafe conditions or doing unsafe acts
    • Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Lean
    • Support and contribute actively in Lean Sigma programs and activities towards delivery of the set target
    • Ensure that 5S in working area is maintained
    • Simplify processes and improvements after the approval from Department Manager, reduce printing or photocopying by using of recycled papers where possible

Additional Requirements

  • Office and manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand as necessary.
  • Must follow and comply with Plant’s Dress and Hygiene Code (SOI)
  • Regularly uses hands and fingers to operate objects, tools or controls. Frequently required to stand, talk and hear for long periods of time
  • Must follow and comply with all Company and Plant policies, procedure (SOIs), rules and State and Federal laws
