About The Role:

The organization’s POS solution is driven by a combination of physical payment devices in store and our processing platform. The POS Operations Officer is responsible for supporting the POS Operations team with; back-office configuration, inventory management and processes being performed by the warehouses, both locally and in the region, and with our partners, being responsible for distribution and logistical support. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring POS programming/ POS Installation assignments have been completed.
  • TMS preparation, POS Downloading, Key injection (If required). 
  • Ensuring merchant staff has been given operational as well as fraud relevant best practice guidelines.
  • Ensuring POS replacement assignments have been completed.
  • TMS handling for new application release and complete testing before proceeding for Production rollout.
  • Terminals are removed and deleted in the data base.
  • Ensure of maintaining day to day inventory records and keeping up to date and in line with other production applications, also ensure all scheduled daily assignments/ activities has been properly recorded and added to the inventory module.
  • Ensure all new projects are implemented and terminals have been programmed to accept new product and services.
  • Ensure time to time merchant visits have been initiated, provide assistance for all operational and technical issues and resolve merchants’ concerns. 
  • Providing Key and SME Merchants first level support and escalating calls to field engineers if visits are required.
  • Ensure to complete BAU tasks With-in agreed TAT. And provide and review Support activity MIS with line manager to improve the service quality. 
  • Ensure the resolution of the problems. 
  • Tracking of Field team productivity & sharing the daily MIS.

Education: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in a relative field. 

Experience: 

  • Five Years in POS Operations. 
  • Knowledge of Acquiring Business products, knowhow of settlement processes. 
  • Analytical skills / technical knowledge of POS products. 
  • A team player/ ability to think out of box and demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Positive thinking and confidence in achieving targets. 
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
