We are seeking a talented individual to join our team at Mercer Super. This role will be based in Melbourne. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.

As a Workplace Education Manager in our national Member Education team, you’ll be helping members better understand their superannuation and take practical steps towards retirement through engaging education and general advice support. You will deliver one-on-one member appointments, seminars and webinars across workplace and virtual settings, working closely with internal stakeholders to improve member engagement and connect members with the right advice pathways when needed.

We will count on you to:

  • Deliver general advice appointments to members and non-members, both face to face and virtually, to support understanding of superannuation and retirement options
  • Design and deliver clear, engaging education sessions for members through workplace seminars, webinars and virtual channels
  • Promote Mercer Super tools and resources to encourage member engagement and identify when members may benefit from further financial advice, referring them to the appropriate advice channel
  • Partner with Relationship Managers to identify workplace education needs, develop annual education plans and deliver content across a range of workplace events
  • Support the transition of major new business accounts to Mercer Super through member education activity and one-on-one appointments as required

What you need to have:

  • RG146 compliance
  • Experience in a member-facing role within superannuation, with demonstrated experience providing general advice in one-on-one appointments
  • Technical knowledge of superannuation and retirement concepts
  • Effective presentation skills with experience delivering education sessions in person and virtually
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office, Zoom and appointment booking systems
