Territory Manager, Pioneer, NE Saskatchewan
Job Description
- Develop and execute a five‑year growth plan for the assigned territory, including annual targets and supporting tactics.
- Recruit, select, develop and retain high‑performing Pioneer Sales Agencies to deliver consistent customer value and market share growth.
- Manage the strategic assignment of customers and prospects (AAR) to Pioneer Agencies to enable sustainable and profitable growth.
- Set, manage and review sales targets, discounts and growth plans with each Pioneer Agency.
- Coach Pioneer Agents on best business practices, sales execution, negotiation and relationship‑building.
- Serve as a role model and coach, reinforcing integrity, adaptability, determination, collaboration and customer focus.
- Advocate for breakthrough ideas and solutions across the organization to advance business results.
- Collaborate and communicate consistently with peers, supporting functions, leaders and external partners.
- Anticipate market opportunities and competitive threats and position the sales team to respond effectively.
- Maintain strong agronomic and technical knowledge of Pioneer products and services.
- Apply market insights to refine territory strategy, customer targeting and sales execution.
- Troubleshoot customer concerns and lead resolution efforts that deliver mutually beneficial outcomes.
- Champion a differentiated Pioneer customer experience through well‑trained, engaged and accountable sales agencies.
- Support Pioneer agencies in building strong, trust‑based relationships with growers and customers.
- Ensure consistent execution of Pioneer standards, programs and brand expectations across the territory.
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, Business, Marketing or a related field preferred.
- Five to seven years of relevant experience with demonstrated sales leadership and performance.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively and work in rural environments.
