Job Description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Support Business case preparation for Material Cost of Powertrain system.
- Share part/ system wise material cost with platform team.
- Evaluating Material Cost at System/Part level at different stage of Development of Product from Business case to SOP
- Keep track on timely feasibility comments on SOR basis business case targets
- Support CDMM team to prepare optimised TSO (Technical Signoff)
- Support SSU and PCL on timely SBC (Should be Cost)
- Timely communication of ROCM SBC to SSU and PCL
- Support Internal systems to facilitate necessary cost approvals due to all change events wrt Cost
- Closely work with CFT to get desired cost inputs and First time right SBC.
- Support PCL for montoring and tracking of Project business case ( material cost targets)
- Provide visibility on overall material cost and raise necessary risk alarms along with mitigation measures
- Should Be costing for Automotive Components
- Technical Knowhow of various manufacturing process, its cost drivers & ability to optimize the cost through various alternative & optimized process.
- Identify the areas of cost reduction through design iteration & assist design to achieve the cost targets.
- Cost benchmarking of the Internal & external powertrains
