DePuy Synthes is recruiting for a Event Manager Coordinator, located in São Paulo, Brazil.
The Event Manager Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the planning and execution of high-quality educational events for healthcare professionals. This role contributes directly to the effectiveness of training programs, professional education initiatives, and customer engagement activities that advance clinical knowledge and product awareness. It offers the opportunity to build expertise in medical education, collaborate cross-functionally, and deliver impactful learning experiences that support better patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Coordinate the planning and logistics of educational events, including conferences, workshops, and training programs for healthcare professionals
• Prepare and distribute event materials such as invitations, agendas, and educational content; maintain event calendars and attendee records
• Support the setup of exhibition spaces, demonstrations, and learning environments, including audiovisual and presentation requirements
• Coordinate vendors, venues, catering, and speaker arrangements in line with organizational guidelines
• Assist in managing event budgets, tracking expenses, and supporting cost-effective program execution
• Collect and compile event data, feedback, and performance metrics to support continuous improvement of education programs
• Respond to inquiries regarding upcoming educational events, registrations, and program details
• Support the coordination of medical education initiatives, including training programs and procedural demonstrations for healthcare professionals
• Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment with compliance, regulatory requirements, and company policies
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate updates on event status, timelines, and changes to stakeholders
Qualifications
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree required (e.g., Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, Healthcare, or related field)
• Advanced degree or certification in Event Management or Healthcare Education preferred
Experience and Skills:
Required:
• 0–2 years of relevant experience in event coordination, marketing support, or education program delivery
• Strong organizational and project coordination skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management tools
• Ability to work under close supervision while contributing to team objectives
Preferred:
• Experience supporting healthcare or medical education events
• Knowledge of event logistics, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
• Familiarity with training or professional education programs for healthcare professionals
• Experience collecting and analyzing event feedback or performance metrics
• Exposure to compliance and regulatory considerations in healthcare environments
• Experience working with cross-functional teams in a global organization
Other:
• Languages: Portuguese (fluent) and English (intermediate to advanced)
• Travel: Up to 20% domestic travel required
• Certifications: Event or project management certification preferred
