Responsibilities:
IT Support and Daily Operations – main roles
- Provide daily IT support for teachers, staff, and students.
- Troubleshoot laptops, desktops, printers, scanners, projectors, classroom devices, and meeting room equipment.
- Support basic Windows issues, Microsoft 365, Outlook, Teams, login problems, and common software issues.
- Assist with basic Wi-Fi, LAN, internet connection, and device connectivity issues.
- Support network printers, photocopiers, printer drivers, print queues, scan-to-email, and scan-to-folder setup.
- Install, set up, and maintain basic IT equipment and peripheral devices.
- Assist with IT inventory checking, asset labelling, device handover, equipment returns, and equipment tracking.
- Report damage, missing, or faulty IT equipment.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the main IT team, ISP, or vendors when needed.
- Support the operation and management of systems such as CCTV, access control, time attendance, centralized printing, and card printing systems.
- Deploy learning applications to devices through the Intune system.
- Monitor and coordinate with vendors and contractors during equipment, infrastructure, and internet installation, maintenance, and upgrade activities.
Event Support and AV Operations
- Support technical setup for school events, assemblies, meetings, performances, parent events, workshops, and other school activities.
- Set up and operate basic AV equipment, including microphones, speakers, mixers, projectors, cameras, lighting, PA systems, display screens, and livestreaming equipment.
- Test sound, microphone, display, projector, lighting, camera, and livestream setup before events.
- Provide on-site technical support during events.
- Check, store, and maintain AV equipment after use.
- Report damage, missing, or faulty AV equipment.
- Coordinate with Operations, Academic, Marketing, and IT teams to prepare event technical requirements.
Communication and Coordination
- Work closely with the main IT team and follow technical instructions.
- Communicate politely and clearly with teachers, staff, students, and vendors.
- Record and report technical issues clearly.
- Prioritize urgent classroom, office, and event-related issues.
- Support other reasonable IT, AV, and school operation tasks as assigned.
