Job Description

Job Summary

*General POD RN: Telephone triage, assist with medication administration for cardiac CTs at Spring Ridge office, assist with administration of medications in clinic, back up for anticoagulation clinic, back up as hospital RN coordinator facilitating rounding, post hospital discharge follow up and testing

  • Provides competent clinical nursing practice across the life-span, facilitates transitions across care settings, and coordinates care delivery with other disciplines for improving patient care quality outcomes as well as decreasing unnecessary utilization and associated costs across patient populations and health care settings.
  • Daily ambulatory nursing practice performance primarily is focused on telephonic patient triage, patient education, direct care interventions, collaborative leadership and care coordination.

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing ? OR - Certification in specialty by recognized accrediting agency ? OR ? enrolled in RN to BSN or RN to MSN program with minimum 12 credits completed within previous 12 months
  • Completes and maintains all competencies and trainings as required for role.

 

Experience

  • Relevant Experience

 

Certification and Licensure

  • BLS Certification
  • PA Registered Nurse License
