ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The basic function of the Warehouse Associate is to perform general tasks in a Warehouse environment.
  • Ensure that work areas are maintained in a neat and orderly manner at all times.
  • Loading and unloading trucks, order picking, wrapping products, packing, labelling shipping and receiving.
  • Responsible for quality control. No damaged product is sent out. No damaged raw material is accepted in.
  • Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labelling).
  • Stage finished product for loading.
  • Load finished product or unload raw materials and move to warehouse storage.
  • Make deliveries to various buildings and departments
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including Health, Safety and Quality Assurance policies.
  • Report injuries, accidents, near misses or unsafe conditions to a Supervisor or Manager immediately.
  • Perform additional duties as requested
EXPERIENCE
  • 0-1 years of related experience and/or training in a manufacturing environment
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); Associate’s degree preferred.
  • Ability to pass a basic reading, math, measurement, parts matching and counting test
  • Able to read, understand, interpret and follow detailed work instructions and manufacturing specifications
  • Ability to adjust to changes without compromising Quality or Performance
  • Must be able to work a shift schedule and overtime as needed, including weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Must be able to stand for the duration of scheduled shift
  • Ability to manually load or unload materials onto or off of pallets, skids, platforms up to weighing 25-150 lbs
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close, Distance, Peripheral, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus
  • Manual dexterity using hands, fingers, and arms to push, pull, reach, grab, hold, lift, and hammer
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Manufacturing warehouse environment with multi step process production runs on different machines. High value highly customized components, long and large parts, and high precision manufacturing for critical service applications
  • Noise Level: Moderate to High
  • Temperature variable with season
