Yard Jockey/Forklift Operator - 1st Shift

Now Hiring: Yard Jockey / Forklift Operator 📍 Location: Groveport, OH Join our team as a Yard Jockey / Forklift Operator and play a key role in keeping our logistics running smoothly every day! What You’ll Be Doing: As a Yard Jockey / Forklift Operator, you’ll split your time between the warehouse and the yard, ensuring materials and trailers are moved efficiently and safely.  Your day-to-day will include: Operating forklifts (Counterbalance and Turret ) to move raw materials and finished goods. Driving a yard truck to position trailers at loading docks and inspecting them for safety and damage. Keeping the yard clean, organized, and compliant with company standards. Loading/unloading trucks and staging materials for production or shipment. Using handheld scanners and SAP to track inventory and material movements. Supporting inventory counts and audits. Assisting with training new forklift operators. Following all safety, quality, and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards.  What We Need from You: High School Diploma or GED preferred (experience may be considered in lieu). At least 6 months of experience operating forklifts and yard trucks in a warehouse or manufacturing setting. Familiarity with SAP or similar inventory systems is a plus.
