Janitor

Schedule: Sunday to Thursday: 11:00pm - 7:00am

The Janitor position is responsible for the cleaning and upkeep of the facility. This includes areas in the warehouse, docks, restrooms, break rooms of the facility. It is mandatory that the incumbent in this role work within the safety guidelines and under the guidance of the shift supervisors. Successful applicants will be willing to work any and all shifts including weekends and overtime.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operating within and promoting compliance with the Code of Business Conduct, company policies and procedures and all statutes and legislation governing the workplace
• Completion of Master Cleaning Schedule, maintaining the expected level of cleanliness in all assigned work areas
• Ensure cleanliness in all areas
• Removes trash and garbage to designated areas

• Ensuring space is prepared for the next day by taking out the trash, recycling and rags
• Follow health and safety regulations, work safely
• Ability to work consistently without direct supervision
• Complete paperwork with accuracy
• Performing other duties as required

KEY REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of one (1) year related work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be able to work in temperature controlled warehousing environment (from ambient to -30 degrees celsius)
• Good interpersonal communication skills with ability effectively to liaise with all levels of the team.

 

Pay Range:$31.70 - $31.70
