• Interaction with sales engineer/customers, as needed, to provide engineering support, clarification and technical documentation for orders and projects.
• Prepare and review related documents such as ITP, pump test reports, specifications, etc.
• Lead projects/special orders from the beginning to completion
• Review and analyze pump design and test results and support product improvement.
• Lead product trouble shooting for testing, manufacturing, and field service.
• Develop pump selection spreadsheet and support pump selection software for sales team.
• Field service technical support.
• Support Marketing in evaluation of competitor offerings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Must be a highly motivated self-starter who has a passion for engineering and can offer unique and complex engineering challenges that require persistence, original thinking, and a positive attitude.
• Technical Skills - Strives to continuously build knowledge and skills. Solve technical issues independently with supports from team.
• Excellent communication skills and be capable of interacting with other engineers, shop technicians, sales, customers, and vendors.
• Intermittent travel may be required, both domestic and international.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s or degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred.
• 3+ Years of application/project engineering experience.
• Centrifugal pump experience preferred.
• Familiarity with industry specification for pump, piping and valves preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel. Experience with Solidworks, CFD and VB preferred.
• Excellent communication skills required.

• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, or crouch.
• Use hands and arms to reach for, grasp and manipulate objects.
• Specific vision abilities include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
