The Direct Support Professional (DSP) provides hands-on support to individuals with identified needs in a residential setting, helping them live as independently as possible while pursuing their personal goals. This role focuses on person-centered care, daily living assistance, community inclusion, and overall health and safety. DSPs offer guidance, advocacy, and behavioral support, assist with personal care and household tasks, provide transportation, monitor well-being, maintain required documentation, and support basic financial management to ensure high-quality, compliant care in a safe and supportive home environment.
