Key responsibilities

  • Assist Factory Manager in driving operational KPI

  • Continuous Improvement champion for the plant.

  • Drive process and project improvement related to Quality.

  • Work with QC Lab to resolve quality issue relating to process and products. Initiate and implement new solutions for process efficiency.

  • Develop and Maintain Standar Operating Procedure.

  • Conduct process training for production and QC Lab.

  • Any other duties assigned by superior.

  • Participate in safety walks and actively involve in reporting & rectification and (or) prevention of unsafe acts and incidences.

Key Tasks

  • Ensure operators engaged in batch production are well trained and strictly adhere to batch card instructions.

  • Supervise new products and products with quality issues related to process based on inputs from QC Lab.

  • Discuss with QC Lab on process changes to achieve desired product quality and process efficiency.

  • To initiate and support on any process related or continuous improvement action implementation and execution via structured methodology.

  • Form part of the task force to analyze and determine root cause for each batch reject reason and establish the CAPA using 5Box.

  • Develop and maintain training material , schedule and skill matrix for production employee.

  • Support Produciton Foreman on daily Yield analysis.

  • Pepare PVR meeting presentation and peapre it.

  • Support supply chain sections on investigation of production and process related customer complaints.

E.      Reject / drum out batch

F.     No. of CI projects completed and ideas implemented

Required Education & Job related skills

Diploma in Paint Technology or Graduation or Post-Graduation in Chemistry.

  • Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant working experience in paint production / quality

  • Able to work independently and in a fast pace environment and result oriented

  • Highly motivated with a positive learning attitude

  • Computer literacy

  • Should be able to read, write and communicate in English and Hindi or local language.
