Job Description:

Maryland Environmental Service has an opening for a Management Specialist to join the Technical and Environmental Services (TES) Group at our Headquarters facility in Millersville, MD. This position provides management support to headquarters and field locations within the Group. Responsibilities include ensuring the accuracy of correspondence and data flow throughout the Group and Agency, attending meetings and providing administrative support services to the assigned Group or facility, and maintaining a favorable public image for Maryland Environmental Service. This position may also require overtime, as needed, to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner.

Estimated Pay Range:

$50,233.92-$69,070.88

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university plus four years experience in administrative or professional work; one year of which involved either supervision or responsibility for program development.

Note: Applicants may substitute additional experience as defined above for the required education at the rate of one year of experience to one year of education, for up to four years of the required education.

The preferred candidate will have experience will have proficiency in the organization and prioritization of assignments with ability to meet deadlines and computer proficiency with spreadsheets, word processing, and e-mail programs.

Must have a valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
