Role Description:
We are seeking a Technical Product Manager (Contract) to support execution across key product initiatives. This role is focused on driving day-to-day product operations, including ticket management, QA support, backlog maintenance, and coordination across teams. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an agile, fast-paced environment.
This is a 40 hours / week contract position for up to 4 months with a hybrid schedule in our Cambridge, MA office.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Translate product initiatives and requirements into clear, actionable Jira tickets and user stories
- Support execution of Q3/Q4 priorities by tracking progress, removing blockers, and driving tasks to completion
- Understand the project features and can interrelate the change being requested to its impact on existing behavior
- Perform and coordinate QA testing across environments to ensure features meet defined specifications
- Support external pilot programs, including testing, validation, and issue tracking
- Ensure development work aligns with product requirements and documented specifications
- Maintain and enforce roadmap alignment by ensuring committed work is properly prioritized and tracked in Jira
- Lead backlog maintenance, including standardizing tickets, removing duplicates, and improving clarity for development teams
- Create, organize, and maintain Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) in Confluence
- Review tickets and PRDs to ensure all relevant requirements, context, and stakeholder feedback are captured
- Consolidate and document feedback from internal teams, external clients, and advisory groups; translate into actionable work items
- Support release processes by validating release notes and testing product workflows
- Partner with the Scrum Master and engineering teams to support sprint planning, standups, and overall execution
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- 3+ years of experience in product management, product operations, or a related role
- Strong experience in healthcare technology
- Strong experience in agile product management processes/ceremonies
- Strong experience with Jira and Confluence (ticket writing, backlog maintenance, documentation)
- Experience supporting QA/testing and working across multiple environments
- Familiarity with agile development processes and ceremonies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
- Clear and concise communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to follow through on tasks independently
