The Field Survey Coordinator conducts site survey walkouts for multi-dwelling units (MDUs) and commercial properties to identify and plan fiber cable installation pathways.

What you’ll do

  • Conduct field surveys and provide hand-drawn schematics, cable routing details, and supporting information for engineering and design teams.
  • Coordinate OSP/ISP construction, coaxial, and fiber splicing activities.
  • Monitor project progress to ensure timelines, specifications, budgets, and profitability goals are met.
  • Prepare and maintain daily reports, production tracking, and bills of material.
  • Collaborate with customers, property managers, contractors, developers, and engineering teams to support timely project completion.
  • Review field and subcontractor work reports and update project tracking documentation.
  • Assist Project Managers and Field Supervisors as needed.

What you’ll need

  • Experience in telecommunications, MDU environments, or field surveying preferred.
  • Ability to interpret construction blueprints and as-built drawings preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in fast-paced outdoor environments.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid driver’s license and authorization to work in the U.S. required.
  • Must pass background and drug screening.
