Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

Support execution of development projects as part of the owner’s representative team, from construction through closeout.

Assist the Sr DCM/DCM in managing project coordination with General Contractors, architects, and consultants.

Support budget and change order tracking, ensuring documentation is accurate and up to date.

Assist in the draw/payment process, including collection and organization of supporting documentation.

Track and update project schedules, identifying variances and supporting follow-up on action items.

Conduct site visits to observe progress and document field conditions, reporting findings to Sr DCM/DCM.

Maintain accurate and organized project documentation, including budgets, schedules, meeting notes, and reports.

Support preparation of weekly and monthly project reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.

Assist in identifying and tracking project risks, issues, and action items, ensuring timely follow-up.

Coordinate with Development, Asset Management, and Property Management teams to support project alignment and communication.

Support project closeout activities, including punch tracking, documentation collection, and turnover preparation.

Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and standards.
SPECIFIC EDUCATION OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management or a related field
- Proficient understanding and knowledge of building codes, construction divisions and developing schedules
- Full knowledge of general contracting construction process including pre-construction planning, scheduling, safety, cost controls, contract administration, and workforce supervision
- Extensive experience managing details of multiple projects in different phases of construction
- Five years or more construction / construction management experience

- Frequently sit, stand and walk
- Regularly required to talk or hear
- Frequently required to use hands or fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls
- Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Vision abilities to include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and the ability to adjust focus
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate
- Temperature in the workplace is typically moderate
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
- This position requires travel up to 50% of the time.
