Position Overview
As a Speech Language Pathologist, you make a meaningful difference by helping patients regain communication, cognitive, and swallowing abilities that shape everyday life. There is more than one location associated with this position. This is either because there are multiple openings at different sites, or the successful candidate will be required to float across multiple UHS facilities. Your recruiter and hiring manager will clarify expectations during the interview process.
Work Shift and Schedule:
This is a per diem position, which means you will work on an as needed, agreed upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Compensation Range:
$37.00 - $55.50 per hour, depending on experienceThis position is not eligible for benefits.

Education/Experience
Minimum Required:
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA) or Clinical Fellowship year candidate
- NYS license or eligibility to be licensed as a Speech Language Pathologist
- CPR certification within first 3 months of employment
Preferred:
- Previous clinical experience
- Experience with dysphagia and neurogenic communication disorders
- Certification Teacher of Speech and Language Disabilities
